Preparing your products for bulk upload to your Champion eCommerce website

Preparing your products for bulk upload to your Champion eCommerce website

Getting your products into your Champion eCommerce website is an easy process. You can either add them one at a time, or, if you’ve got tens, hundreds, or thousands of products uploading from a spreadsheet is more attractive option.

At Nuttify we use the WooCommerce CSV Import Suite plugin. As well as doing a straight import of your products,  it allows you to merge products into an existing store. This merge process bulk updates your products in your store from your spreadsheet. This provides an easy to manage option for bulk imports, and makes managing products in the future an easy option.

To get your products ready for import you are going to need details about them. You also need to let us know what units you are going to use for weights and measurements: kilograms, grams; meters, or centimetres.

Product detail columns and their explanations

Not all of these product fields will be relevant to every one of your products. So you can safely ignore many of them. To make sure that we can merge products in the future we will need a unique SKU – or after importing these products we can export them, and this export file will include unique post IDs.
