Why we use forms?
Besides being much more user friendly, and easy. Forms provide much better protection from spam, as your E-Mail address is not displayed directly on the website, and spammers can not as easily access this.
Control the information you recieve
Rather than getting an E-Mail filled with unnecessary information and often badly formatted material, forms allow you to capture the exact information you want from them.
Consistency and easily managed
All form entries on your website are submitted exactly the same way, so formatting remains the same and consistent across all entries. Gravity Forms also has built in exporting and importing capabilities so keeping track of the data has never been easier.
Easier for customers and users
Lets face it, filling out a form online is much easier for everybody. With smart phones, tablets, laptops, online forms can be filled out any time and anywhere.
Integration with other services
Gravity Forms offers integration with a number of popular web services such as Twilio, MailChimp, PayPal and Freshbooks. To read more on these additional service and how we can use them on your website, read more here
When and where we use them?
Rather than just displaying a phone number, or even an email address your websites contact page needs a form. This makes it much easier for users to get in contact with you right away without having to navigate away from the page.
Using forms for users to sign up to your email list is another great use for forms on your website. We integrate Gravity Forms with Mailchimp on many of our websites so users can easily and automatically be added to your mailing list. We use this in a number of ways
- A separate email subscription form of its own, often placed in the sidebar or footer of every page to increase chances of conversions
- Tick boxes on contact forms and other forms on your website asking users to sign up to your mailing list
