Adding Wedding Dates for My Account Page

This article takes you through adding and managing wedding dates for your customers “My Account Page” to enable the Countdown and Wedding Timeline lists.

  1. In order for the Wedding Countdown and Timeline to be enabled, you have to add a Wedding Date to your customers user profile. To do this, login to your site and select Users from the WordPress Dashboard
  2. Find the customer under the list of users and click “edit”.
  3. At the bottom of this page you will see a field Titled Wedding Date. Clicking inside this will bring up a date picker. Select the date of your customers wedding and click the button labelled “Update User”
  4. Your customer should now be able to access their my account page which will include a timer counting down to their wedding date, and the timeline of things to do until then.
